Gotta apologise for my lack of updates!
Anyway, I've posted a couple of pics below which you guys might find amusing.


Taken during my industrial microbiology prac, the picture (left) shows how a 'digested' raw crabmeat will look like after digestion in the stomach. OF COURSE we didn't eat and puke out that crabmeat just to test for bacteria. Those chopped pieces of crab meat were added to peptone (stomach enzyme) before placing in them in this machine 'stomacher' which churns food like what our stomach do.


The rest of the class did tests on custards, malay kueys etc. We took a portion of those disgesting fluids and plate it on agar plate. IF we spot bacteria colonies on the plates on friday, the yong tau foo stall in south canteen might be 'in trouble'. Ooops. :D
