Check out my class's MBT results for gene cloning. Those patches with blue dots and white dots are bacteria colonies. Blue colonies means failure as they do not contain the gene we want to insert into the bacteria. As for white dots - they have new gene inserted but it's not the gene we want cos it doesn't glow in dark. :( There goes our three weeks of hard work.. lols.
