hong kong! part 2..

I back from more updates on hong kong! Actually, you guys out there should see Ian's blog on the recent hong kong trip...He's terrific! Meanwhile, I'll update MY version of hong kong trip. It's sort of different from his version.. alright? Absolutely no copyright :D

Day 2

We're suppose to wake at 6.30am, but I happen to "autowake" myself at 6am. In that case, I sort of lay on bed awake til the alarm rang. Had our breakfast in the hotel "coffeshop" as mention by John, our tour guide. To me, it sort of look like a buffet restaurant instead.

Had a series of programmes for us. First was the choral exchange in a school at the mountain, and to John's prediction, the temperature is sort of much colder as compare to lowland's. Geography? I don't take pure ones.

Most student used mainly cantonese as the main language of communication.. english, to my amazment, they too have the accent while speaking them. [Actually, not all of the students were well english speakers] They spoke three types of langauges![ mainly cantonese, chinese and english.

Our performance was indeed what Ian had described. Chan Mali Chan? Most of us just simply blabber nonsense in state of those lyrics. Talking about dance? It does look like dance at all! The performance by the school was somehow like an musical, staged by both the choir, drama group, as well as dance group. The whole entire performance were far better than us!!

Next, we set off the the star avenue, not a place with lots of stars, but stars as in what we call celebrities. Actually, it has the name all because celebrities leave their handprints on the cement ground. Actually, it's the sea view that mesmorised us all. Took lots of photos there! It's kinda fun anyway.

Next it's shopping time! John brought us to what hong kong peeps call, the Ladies Street where lots of things are sold at cleap prices. The peeps which I went with were really good at cutting prices! [yvonne lerh, shang yi, yuan wen, yi wei, sandra] Had really a hard time on what to buy for my family and friends!

Lunch was in restaurant as usual.. it's sweet and sour pork again! So far, it's sort of the common dish we ate every meal.

Near 8 in the evening, we proceed on to victoria peak. The night scene from above was gorgeous! As usual, we took lots of shots near the peak.. One of us even tried climbing higher to have a better shot.

That's all for today!
